Galina Rift area was explored by Bob Grimes and co a long time ago. Dan Sullivan and PB relooked at it, and Dan started a longish dig through the bolder pile at the end.
Eventually a loose way through was found to get to the bottom of a very muddy chamber. Glyn Roberts and Stuart Carter climbed the avens (30m) to lead to what is probably near the down stream end of White River.
At the top of the avens is a flat bedding plane blocked with rocks, but heads towards an area beyond the downstream end of White River. Although progress is likely to be slow at least for the next few feet, there is a faint draught, and the passage appears to enlarge slightly beyond a constriction. A couple of sessions of determined capping should let us see if it's worth more effort.
Whilst climbing the avens, the bleeding obvious passage on the right was missed. This was latter found to lead into the extensive NCC series, hence avoiding the very thin M1 at the top of Wigwam aven.
